The Nazis lacked “CONSCIENCE”, the idea that there is a sense of “right and wrong” or “ought” withinindividualsthat is “universal” and inborn. (e.g. murder is wrong) Hitler stated, “Conscience is a “Jewish invention” to be discarded as an act of‘self-liberation’.” After the war, Germans prosecuted for “war crimes” stated they broke no formal laws. They would be convicted of “crimesagainst humanity.” Humans intrinsicallyknowcertain things are wrong and evil.Nazi/redneck “insider” justice rationalizes injustice to any “outsider”.
